Online Music Lessons
Lifestyles have drastically changed since a pandemic enveloped our nation. Parents suddenly found themselves working from home and even being responsible for teaching their children as schools shut down. During the past few months, we have learned to better use technology to stay in touch with family, friends and co-workers. Many people who had resisted using online sources have now become proficient.
I have been a piano teacher for over 35 years. During the past decade I have been working to develop a program where children can learn to play piano online with the help of a parent/grandparent. As a parent, myself, I understand that time is a precious commodity and driving children to lessons can be difficult to manage. With the Pianokids program, you get to determine the lesson and practice times.
For years, people have thought that piano lessons shouldn’t begin until a child could read. Music, however, is like a language, which means those preschool minds (while short-spanned) are like sponges and will learn quickly. Our curriculum can have your 3-5-year-old playing full songs with both hands in just a couple of months.
